RBISE SSC Over 4000 Students Not Issued Admit Cards: Matriculation exams are going to kick off on Saturday in Rawalpindi under Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), however, more than 4000 students have not been given admit cards as yet.

Hundreds of students on Friday staged a protest demonstration against the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) for not receiving the roll number slips to appear in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination 2011 scheduled to commence from today (Saturday).
The students held the demonstration at the Transformer Chowk and blocked the city’s busiest road. They also damaged some shops in the area. They were chanting slogans against the RBISE authorities for their failure to issue them the roll number slips and creating multiple problems for them by disturbing their studies at this critical time. They said new online system introduced by the Punjab government had created problems for them. The RBISE website has not been updated and many who downloaded the roll number slips from the site found them full of error, they added. According to some students, thousands of students have not yet received their roll number slips and the authorities are least bothered about their problems.

The board officials said they had dispatched the roll number slips of the regular candidates to the schools and of the external candidates to the examination centers in all 19 tehsils of the four districts of Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal and Jehlum.
